Watch more free documentaries

Today's "Tru Story" post is what I consider to be one of the most important posts to date on Concrete Rose because no matter how old it gets its message is timeless and unfortunatley gun violence is still at large in many communities, especially mine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bullets in The Hood A Bed Stuy Story is a documentary produced and directed by then 19 yr old Terrence Fisher, a native of Bed Stuy, Brooklyn, New York.  Based on Fisher's life at Louis Armstrong Housing Project in Bed Stuy Brooklyn,  he was only 19 yrs old at the time of filming. Fisher's purpose for making this documentary is to expose what life really is like in the projects encountering gun violence on a daily basis. Bullets in The Hood won the 2005 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize in Short Filmmaking. For more information or to see the film in it's entirety check it out here.
